As smart home technology grows, managing multiple apps for different functions can be overwhelming. Nucleus simplifies this by bringing all your home’s control into one app. From security and energy usage to device management, Nucleus covers it all. Designed with a simple, intuitive interface, the app makes it easy for anyone to quickly understand and control every aspect of their home.

Building the Foundation
The first step in developing Nucleus was organizing the app’s functionalities in a logical way. Collaborating virtually with four other team members, we brainstormed ideas and created a board to map out rooms and potential devices within them. This helped me decide on using rooms as the main categorization system. I also added the ability for users to favorite frequently used devices for easy access. Additionally, separating security devices from standard room devices was crucial for emphasizing security.
